Jane Morrow and I are currently involved in a piece of consultancy work commissioned by Greater Manchester Arts. Keen to work together for a long time this opportunity combines our individual specialist skills and interests, artist development for Jane and and participatory practice / socially engaged arts practice.

We’ve been invited to map provision and make recommendations for professional development activity for artists working within community and Health & Wellbeing sectors. Partners include HOME,  Castlefield,  The Lowry and both Manchester-based Universities, alongside contributions from Arts Officers and individual artists.

This work responds to Greater Manchester’s local authority devolution – one of the first cross-district authorities in England to do so. A report, including recommendations, is due to be published later this year.
