Inspired by recent work with the health sector this series of live performances and events explores empathy, nostalgia and recall… Feeling uneasy, here, is an understatement as you (and your senses) are tested for endurance-like stagings of what the human body will and can do. Each ‘performer’ is in some way confined; be they physically bound, lying down or hidden behind an unreal ‘facade’.
Its been a while (I realised whilst I was in the space itself) since I’ve engaged with any live performance work. Each of the three scenarios installed here reminded me of other times and places I’ve known, past dreams and feelings – be they uncomfortable or otherwise.
